What we collect
- Account details: your name, email, and for brands, your company details.
- Connected social accounts: your handle, follower count, and the videos and view, like, comment and share counts the platform shares with us. We only ask for read access.
- Payout details: your bank name, the last four digits of your account and the name on it. Full account numbers are held by our payment provider, not by us. We may verify your identity with your BVN or NIN before larger payouts.
- Usage: pages you visit, device and approximate location, used to keep the service secure and working.
Why we use it
- To run campaigns: matching creators, counting views and showing brands their results.
- To pay creators and bill brands.
- To detect fraud, including comparing counts across sources and spotting duplicate videos.
- To send you messages about your account. Marketing emails only with your consent, and you can stop them any time.
Who we share it with
Brands see a creator’s handle, public profile, campaign posts and their numbers. We use trusted providers for hosting, payments, email and identity checks, under contracts that limit what they can do with your data. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. Financial records are kept for six years, as Nigerian law requires. View history for fraud checks is kept for two years.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to see, correct, move or delete your data, and object to how we use it. You can disconnect a social account at any time from your settings. To make a request, email us; we’ll reply within 30 days.
